MIPCOM sets multiplatform event
September 22, 2009 MIPCOM is to partner with the global trade association the Mobile Entertainment Forum at this year's Cannes-based program sales market, launching a lineup of events and keynotes around the theme of multiplatform entertainment, organizers said Tuesday. MEF, the the global trade association for the mobile media industry, will also bring its expertise to Cannes to host a networking breakfast workshop that will draw together execs from the BBC, O2 and Vodafone to discuss future mobile content marketing and distribution. The joint program will be hosted Oct. 8 as part of MIPCOM's Connected Entertainment conference strand.
