Paul Wesley joins 'Vampire Diaries'


March 26, 2009 Based on the Alloy novels, WBTV's "Vampire" centers on Elena (Dobrev), a tragic heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers, Stefan (Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Stefan is described as "gloriously, amazingly, epically beautiful young man" who is actually a 200-year-old vampire who has a strong connection with Elena. Wesley's series credits include arcs on "24," "Everwood," "Army Wives" and "American Dreams."
