Singer-songwriter Lee Hazlewood dies


August 07, 2007 Lee Hazlewood, a singer-songwriter best known for writing and producing "These Boots Were Made For Walkin' " for Nancy Sinatra, has died. Barton Lee Hazlewood died Saturday of kidney cancer at his home in Henderson, the Clark County coroner's office said. Hazlewood was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2005 and released his final album, "Cake or Death," in 2006.
