'Tourist' traps Theron, Worthington


August 03, 2009 The Oscar-winning actress and the much-in-demand Aussie star, who is taking over for Tom Cruise, have signed to star in Spyglass Entertainment's thriller remake "The Tourist." In the original, a female Interpol agent chooses an everyman American tourist visiting France and dangles him as bait in the hunt for a wanted criminal, who's also her former lover. Bharat Nalluri ("Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day") is directing from a screenplay by Julian Fellowes, Bill Wheeler and Chris McQuarrie.
