Ben Affleck going to 'Town'

September 15, 2008 Ben Affleck is in negotiations to direct and star in "The Town," a dark heist-romance hybrid, for Warner Bros. Affleck will rewrite an existing script by Peter Craig with revisions by Chuck Hogan, who wrote the novel "Prince of Thieves," on which the film is based. The story involves a high-tension love triangle between a female bank manager, a longtime thief who stole more than her heart and an equally smitten FBI agent trying to bust the crook and his gang before they can pull another big job.
