French comedy passes 20 mil admits
May 21, 2008 "Sticks," showing in French theaters for just 12 weeks, has only 753,634 tickets left to sell before it breaks the French boxoffice record set by "Titanic" after 23 weeks. While Will Smith celebrates Warner Bros.' upcoming stateside remake of the film back in Hollywood, the film's director and star Dany Boon joined his cast along with Pathe's Claude Berri and Jerome Seydoux to spread their pile of "Ch'tis" across the Festival de Cannes red carpet Wednesday night.
