KidsCo adds five territory deals

September 02, 2009 Fast-growing global kids net KidsCo, a joint venture of NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment, said Wednesday it has sealed deals with broadcasters in Angola, Belgium, Mongolia, Mozambique and Slovenia to carry its programming. The quintet of new territories follows hot on the heels of a deal struck with German cable TV operator, Kabel BW. KidsCo managing director, Paul Robinson said: "We are only two years old, but our rate of expansion is testimony to the importance that broadcasters place on providing quality entertainment for families as well as the versatility of KidsCo, which is broadcast in multiple languages tailored to each region."
