10 wrestlers in the WWE suspended


August 31, 2007 Sports entertainment powerhouse World Wrestling Entertainment has suspended 10 wrestlers who it said violated the WWE's wellness policy. Under the policy, performers are tested for such things as illegal substances and heart stress. [...] WWE said the suspensions were based on information received from the Albany County, N.Y., district attorney's office, which is investigating illegal steroid sales in the wake of the recent tragedy surrounding former WWE star Chris Benoit.
