'Panda' man to take on 'Minotaur'


May 13, 2009 The Gotham Group has attached "Kung Fu Panda" co-director John Stevenson to its adaptation of "The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break." Mike Jones has written the adaptation of Steven Sherrill's 2000 novel about the mythological creature -- half-man, half-bull -- who survived Theseus' attack in the labyrinth and walks among us today. "Minotaur" is conceived as a live-action love story with CGI elements.
