NBC sets sights on 'Mistakes'

October 30, 2008 NBC is developing an hourlong drama based on the "do-over" novel "Pretty Little Mistakes," with "Friday Night Lights" showrunner Jason Katims supervising the project from the writing team of Bruce Marshall Romans and Kiersten Van Horne. "Mistakes," from Universal Media Studios, is based on the novel by Heather McElhatton that lets readers decide which path the female protagonist will take at the end of each chapter. The project, which has received a script commitment from NBC, will reflect the readers'-choice sensilbity of the book, but producers are still in the formative stages of working out the logistics.
