Fox's 'Glee' casts Broadway pair
September 05, 2008 Broadway actors Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele have been cast in "Glee," Ryan Murphy's new musically themed project for Fox that is on a fast track for a March launch. The hourlong comedy "Glee," from 20th TV, centers on Will (Morrison), a thirtysomething Spanish teacher at an Ohio high school who has the daunting task of taking over the school's glee club, which has become a haven for outcasts. "Harper's Island," from CBS Paramount, is a serialized drama revolving around a group of friends who are terrorized when they meet on an island off the Seattle coast for a destination wedding.
