ABC orders up more 'Jim'
June 28, 2007 The network has ordered 18 episodes of the sitcom, which didn't land on the network's fall schedule but remained in serious consideration. Back in May, ABC canceled another long-running domestic sitcom, "George Lopez," but kept "Jim" alive, postponing pickup decision of the Jim Belushi-starring series until after the upfronts. "Jim," from ABC Studios and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, has been a solid performer for ABC, which has struggled to launch a hit new comedy in the past five years.
