DGA is Coens', 'Country's' best friendo
January 27, 2008 The directing team of Joel and Ethan Coen received the DGA Award for feature film directing Saturday, winning for their edgy thriller "No Country for Old Men." The Coens picked up their award at the DGA Awards 60th anniversary gala, held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. "No Country" -- an adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel -- is a co-production of distributor Miramax and Paramount Vantage.
