'Three Monkeys' tops N.C. film festival
April 29, 2009 WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's "Three Monkeys" won the best narrative feature prize and Nati Baratz's "Unmistaken Child" was the top documentary at the 11th annual RiverRun International Film Festival in Winston-Salem, N.C. Italian director Paolo Sorrentino won the best director prize for "Il Divo," a biopic about Italian politician Giulio Andreotti and the investigation into his ties to the mafia. Also in the documentary category, Robert Kenner was selected best director for "Food, Inc.," a film that examines the global food supply and how unhealthy it has become, and "Rocaterrania" won a special jury prize for original music.
