'Choke' gets hold as Raindance opener

September 02, 2008 The movie -- which stars Sam Rockwell, Anjelica Huston and Kelly Macdonald -- will kick-start the U.K.-based shindig, which sets itself apart from other fests here by focusing on discoveries, innovation and indie filmmaking. Closing out this year's event will be Mark Tonderai's directorial debut "Hush," a road horror movie complete with kidnapped girlfriends, an unrelenting psycho killer and duff policing. The competition jury includes actor Peter Capaldi, Beastie Boys filmmaker Adam Yauch, producer Rebecca O'Brien and veteran helmer Nicolas Roeg.
