Writing duo on trek to 'Colony'


July 09, 2008 Steven Schneider of Room 101 and Vertigo Entertainment's Doug Davison and Roy Lee are producing, with Gabriel Mason executive producing. The socially progressive Participant grabbed the pitch because King said it combines "a really scary movie" with "a completely realistic environmental cautionary tale." Title and Penner, repped by ICM and Modus Entertainment, have penned screenplays for the Oscar-nominated short "Down on the Waterfront" and the crime thriller "Let the Devil Wear Black."
