'Family Guy' cleared in 90% of country
April 27, 2007 Twentieth Television said Thursday that the animated comedy "Family Guy" has now been cleared in 90% of the U.S. for its fall launch in syndication. The show has been cleared in 150 markets, including 24 of the top 25, on station groups including Tribune, Fox Television Stations, CBS Television Stations, Hearst/Argyle, Raycom Media, Sinclair Broadcasting, Scripps-Howard, ACME, Clear Channel Broadcasting and Lin Television Group. "With the upcoming syndication debut, the 'Family Guy' phenomenon has taken another leap forward," Twentieth Television president and COO Bob Cook said.
