'ReGenesis' generates most Geminis
October 18, 2007 The Canadian sci-fi drama "ReGenesis" led all comers Wednesday night as Canada's TV industry continued to honor its own at the Gemini Awards. The Shaftesbury Films drama about scientists at a biotechnology lab saw Wendy Crewson pick up a Gemini for best supporting actress in a drama, while Stephen Amell earned a trophy for best guest actor in a drama and Ingrid Kavelaars took home a Gemini for best guest actress in a drama. Shaftesbury Films' TV miniseries "The Robber Bride" also earned Geminis for Shawn Doyle as best leading actor in a drama or miniseries and co-star Mary Louise Parker for best leading actress in a drama or miniseries.
