Curtis Hanson's sign: 'Gemini'

February 12, 2009 "L.A. Confidential" director Curtis Hanson is in negotiations to helm the long-gestating action thriller taking shape at Touchstone Pictures. The concept allows for some techno-wizardry whereby an older actor with a long career would be cast, and his younger likeness would be digitally grafted onto a stuntman's body. Bruckheimer execs Mike Stenson and Chad Oman will executive produce along with Angry Films' Don Murphy, who set the project up originally in 1997 off an original pitch from Darren Lemke.
