'Slumdog Millionaire' wins 7 BAFTA nods
February 08, 2009 Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Millionaire" dominated this year's Orange British Academy Film Awards, scooping seven awards including best film, director, cinematography and adapted screenplay for writer Simon Beaufoy. The BAFAS are presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Mickey Rourke's career rehabilitation continued apace, slamming home the evening's lead actor prize for his performance as a washed-up grappler in "The Wrestler."
