Scorsese's Stones docu delayed until April

August 11, 2007 The theatrical release of Martin Scorsese's concert documentary about the Rolling Stones has been postponed by seven months to April, distributor Paramount Classics said Thursday. The film, whose title comes from an old Rolling Stones gospel song, was shot during two performances at New York's Beacon Theatre in the fall, when guest performers included bluesman Buddy Guy, Jack White of rock duo the White Stripes and pop singer Christina Aguilera. The Rolling Stones recently released a four-disc DVD documenting stops on the 2006 leg of their "Bigger Bang" world tour.
