'Unmarried' pair leave show

May 10, 2009 "Gary Unmarried" executive producers Ed Yeager and Ric Swartzlander have left the freshman CBS comedy over creative differences. There is speculation that two writer-producers on the show -- co-exec producer Ira Ungerleider and consulting producer Rob Des Hotel -- would be elevated to run "Unmarried," and with them in place the series would be renewed. Yeager created "Unmarried," which stars Jay Mohr as a recently single painting contractor who shares custody of his children with his controlling ex-wife (Paula Marshall).
