Universal renews deal with Scott Stuber

November 06, 2008 Stuber has been a key producer for the studio ever since he and Mary Parent segued from their position as Universal's co-president of productions and formed Stuber/Parent. "Scott's transformation from one of our studio's leading executives into one of our most consistent suppliers has been immensely rewarding for all of us, and we are gratified to continue our partnership," Universal's president of production Donna Langley said. In 2009, Universal will release at least three, if not four, Stuber-produced movies: "The Wolfman," directed by Joe Johnston and starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins; "Traveling," directed by Brandon Camp and starring Aaron Eckhart, Jennifer Aniston and Martin Sheen; and the sci-fi thriller "Repossession Mambo," starring Jude Law and Forest Whitaker and directed by Miguel Sapochnik.
