Korean boxoffice numbers still sliding


June 09, 2008 Local movies accounted for just 7.8% of the South Korean boxoffice in May, the lowest level since records were started in 2000, according to a report issued on Monday by the nation's largest movie exhibitor CJ CGV. For January-May, nationwide boxoffice admissions are down 7.4% from 2007, and 19.6% from the record set in 2006.
