Azaria's job 'Outsourced' for Col


January 03, 2007 The funnyman who voices the characters of Moe Szyslak, Apu and Chief Wiggum on Fox's long-running series "The Simpsons" is set to make his feature directorial debut on the project. Columbia bought the pitch in 2004 from scribe Timothy Dowling as a starring vehicle for Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson (HR 8/31/04). Azaria, who is coming off his Tony-nominated Broadway-run of "Spamalot" and the Emmy-winning television show "Huff," will lend his voice to Fox's upcoming summer tentpole "The Simpsons Movie."
