Nielsen's Byrne to be honored

June 12, 2009 Gerry Byrne, senior vp of Nielsen Business Media's Media & Entertainment Group, will be among the honorees when New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg presents the fourth annual "Made in NY" awards Monday at Gracie Mansion. In addition to Byrne, this year's honorees are Edie Falco, who stars on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie"; composer-lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, whose work ranges from "Sesame Street" to the Broadway musical "In the Heights"; representatives from Hungry Man, a N.Y.-based commercial production company; and Alliance for Inclusion in the Arts, a not-for-profit advocacy organization.
