Germany's Vox launching VOD platform


June 22, 2009 German cable channel Vox will launch its own VOD platform, independent of parent network RTL, for in-house and acquired programming. Similar to RTL's VOD platform RTLnow.de, Vox plans to charge €0.99-€1.99 ($1.40-$2.80) an episode for on-demand shows after the catch-up period.
