Universal has 'Family Bond'


June 20, 2008 Universal has picked up "The Family Bond," an adventure spec by Jeff Lowell. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will produce via the Marc Platt Prods. banner along with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who produce through their Millar/Gough Ink banner. The family movie seems like a 180-degree turn from Platt's latest project, the stylish and R-rated action movie "Wanted," starring Angelina Jolie, though he did dip his toe into family-film waters with the Hilary Duff movie "The Perfect Man."
