Christina Cole set to star in Fox drama pilot


February 25, 2009 After an extensive search, British actress Christina Cole has landed the lead in Fox's untitled Ian Biederman project. The Biederman project -- from 20th, Imagine, creator Biederman and director Stephen Hopkins -- centers on a brilliant female surgeon (Cole) who endures adult-onset schizophrenia and thrives. Cole, 26, who has mostly appeared on British TV, is the second young U.K. actress to topline a drama pilot this season; Charity Wakefield stars in David E. Kelley's NBC dramedy "Legally Mad."
