Pipeline: Disney and Pixar's CG slate
October 23, 2008 Disney execs are counting on lightning to strike at the boxoffice when "Bolt" hits theaters. The first animated film designed in Disney Digital 3-D from its inception, the movie is also the first completely supervised by John Lasseter since he became chief creative officer in 2006. The title character (John Travolta) is a canine actor who portrays a superhero on TV -- and who thinks he really possesses the superpowers he exhibits on the show.
