SAG, AMPTP revive discussions


February 17, 2009 Negotiators from the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers and SAG met until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the AMPTP's offices in Sherman Oaks. SAG and the AMPTP met at 9 a.m. to revive discussions to resolve their dispute over a new TV/theatrical contract that has been stalled since June 30. Negotiating for SAG is a task force that replaced the negotiating committee that had handled talks until late January.
