November 20, 2006 The motion picture industry isn't wasting any time pushing its agenda with the new Congress in announcing a daylong conference with several top executives designed to "educate" lawmakers and other policy types. Confirmed guests for the program include Peter Chernin, president and chief operating officer of News Corp. and chairman and CEO of the Fox Group; Michael Lynton, chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment; Barry Meyer, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros.
