Cannes digest: Fortissimo gets 'Gigantic'

May 13, 2008 Fortissimo Films is once again joining forces with Killer Films and beginning a new relationship with Epoch Films to bring to market "Gigantic," from first-time director Matt Aselton. The film details the story of young girl growing up in Northern Ireland in a poor family, who dreams of becoming a race car driver. Omega Entertainment has hired veteran sales agent Trevor Wright as its president of North American operations, freeing up company president Peter Rogers "to focus primarily on film production."
