A leap of faith for Alex Gibney


September 26, 2008 Oscar winner Alex Gibney is taking off with "Gravity," a documentary about the extreme sport of BASE jumping. The Smartest Guys in the Room will executive produce and serve as a mentor on the docu, a look at death-defying athletes who jump off buildings and cliffs. The movie's credits will feature a who's who of docu-world figures: "Riding Giants" producer Jane Kachmer will produce, along with Strauch and Eric Bruggemann.
