Wolfe rakes in 'Leaves' for Foxx
July 02, 2007 "Lackawanna Blues" helmer George C. Wolfe is set to direct the Jamie Foxx starrer "Blood on the Leaves" for Paramount Pictures. Based on Jeffrey Stetson's 2004 novel, the story centers on a district attorney who grapples with feelings of revenge as he prosecutes a black history professor on trial for the murders of white men accused of crimes against blacks during the Civil Rights movement. Wolfe won a DGA Award for directing the HBO ensemble drama "Lackawanna," for which he also was nominated for an Emmy.
