'Slumdog' star set for Indian film fest honor


March 10, 2009 Anil Kapoor, the Indian star who plays the game show host in "Slumdog Millionaire," will be honored at the seventh annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, which runs April 21-26 at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood. The fest also announced that Megan Doneman's "Yes Madam, Sir," a documentary about Kiran Bedi, India's first and highest-ranking officer of the Indian Police Service, will be the closing-night film, which Bedi will attend as guest of honor.
