Berlinale Keynotes showcase film execs

January 23, 2007 The Berlin International Film Festival and regional subsidy group Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg will co-sponsor the inaugural Berlinale Keynotes, a series of industry-related presentations by leading members of the U.S. and European film business. The Keynotes, to be held Feb. 13 at the Ritz-Carlton on Potsdamer Platz, will feature executives from such companies as Sony Pictures, U.K. computer game developer Lionhead Studios, France's Quantic Dreams, Google Video, MySpace, Warren N. Lieberfarb & Assoc., Artists Without a Label and 2 Degrees Ventures, organizers said Monday. "The Berlinale also sees itself as a platform for the discussion of the new challenges and strategies for the film industry and film culture in general," Berlin festival director Dieter Kosslick said.
