'Wire,' 'Waltz' wow Int'l Documentary Assn.


December 05, 2008 James Marsh's "Man on Wire" and Ari Folman's "Waltz With Bashir" tied for Distinguished Feature honors at the International Documentary Assn.'s 2008 IDA Documentary Awards. At Friday's ceremony hosted by Morgan Spurlock at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, the newly instituted Audience Award was given to Chris Taylor's "Food Fight," which looks at the organic food movement in California.
