CBS has partnered with upscale culinary retailer Williams-Sonoma to promote its 2005-06 primetime schedule, offering a free DVD featuring previews of the network's six new shows as well as original cooking segments with CBS stars in more than 250 Williams-Sonoma stores nationwide. The DVD, part of a cross-promotional campaign aimed at wealthy and mostly female viewers, also will be distributed in all Williams-Sonoma packages shipped in the fall and in targeted store catalogs. Williams-Sonoma stores also will highlight the CBS fall lineup and promotional material will be featured on the retailer's Web site.
