Dustin Hoffman and Dax Shepard are ready to face off against each other in "Car Wars" for Warner Bros. The actors are in negotiations to topline the project, which follows a snobby Mercedes-Benz dealer (Hoffman) who sees his kingdom crumble after a "Hollywood Classic Cars" shop opens up across the street. Shepard's recent credits include the Paramount Pictures feature "Without a Paddle" and 20th Century Fox's "Cheaper by the Dozen."
