Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Gold Circle are joining forces to produce the love story "Griffin and Phoenix," set to star Amanda Peet and Dermot Mulroney. Ed Stone, one of the writers and producers of 1999's "Happy, Texas," in which he also appeared as an actor, will make his directorial debut, working from his own screenplay. SKE's Marina Grasic will executive produce along with Gold Circle's Norm Waitt and Scott Niemeyer.
