Fox has given a put pilot commitment to "Blue Blood," a drama project from the feature duo of writer Neil Tolkin and director Brett Ratner.
Based on Edward Conlon's memoir of the same name, "Blood" is an ensemble show centering on a rookie NYPD cop -- a Harvard graduate who has decided to continue the family tradition and pursue a career in law enforcement.
Tolkin is penning the script for the project, which is produced by 20th Century Fox TV and Roundtable Entertainment.
