The Search for a Superstar again clung to the top spot in the key adults 18-49 demographic, NBC nevertheless carried the race among total viewers and in 18-49 for the second straight week.
Crime Scene Investigation remained the most-watched show (14.1 million viewers), a special version of Dog Eat Dog featuring Playboy Playmates (12.7 million) helped boost NBC to a shapely average of 7.9 million viewers for the week, beating CBS (7.7 million), ABC (6.2 million) and Fox (5.6 million).
CBS has found a tough performer in "Big Brother 3," which is doing even better than last summer's second version of the reality series.
