9, released four years ago, this 10th "Trek" feature enters the boxoffice fray when sci-fi movies seemingly no longer draw big crowds in the fall and winter, but fan loyalty guarantees a hefty opening frame for the Paramount release and a long voyage in the ancillary cosmos. "Star Trek Nemesis" gets its title from Shinzon (Tom Hardy), a renegade war chief impersonating a statesman who hails from the planet Remus. Actually a clone of Picard created by the neighboring Romulans to wreck havoc in the future on the Starfleet, Shinzon eliminates a bunch of pesky law-abiding Romulans -- who banished him to slave labor when they feared their covert scheme would be discovered and lead to war -- and lures the Enterprise into a trap.
