Focus Features has acquired all North American distribution rights to the family drama "Opal Dreams," the second feature from director Peter Cattaneo since his Oscar-nominated turn helming "The Full Monty." Cast with unknown actors and filmed on location in South Australia, "Dreams" centers on the story of a young girl (Sapphire Boyce) with two imaginary friends. Both Schamus and Focus Features co-president David Linde are parents themselves and were looking for a project they could share with their own families.
