Producer Christine Peters is in negotiations with British writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais to write the big-screen version of the best-selling novel "Confessions of a Master Jewel Thief," by Bill Mason with Lee Gruenfeld.
Bradford Smith, president of Peters' CFP Prods., brought the writers to the studio and will supervise development on behalf of the production company.
Wendy Japhet and Eben Davidson will oversee on behalf of Paramount Pictures, where the project is based.
