Irony is still alive but sickly in the rude, raunchy "Not Another Teen Movie," Columbia Pictures' deliberately unseasonal bid to rake off expendable cash from older teens and young adults. A skewering of ensemble youth comedies and romancers -- of the Freddie Prinze Jr. and John Hughes varieties -- the R-rated "Teen" might not have the virility of its highfalutin competition at the boxoffice, but it won't limp out of theaters a loser both critically and commercially. While society at large will barely notice its coming and going, viewers of "Teen" get thoroughly mirth-slapped and cinematically violated, starting with the opening sequence, which features wholesome Janey Briggs (Chyler Leigh) on her birthday morning in bed with a dildo and favorite romantic movie.
