Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac are attached to star in the Columbia Pictures comedy "The Dinner Party," with studio-based Tall Trees Prods., 3 Arts Entertainment and Kutcher's Katalyst Films producing. "Dinner," being written by Jay Scherick and David Ronn, is about a man (Kutcher) marrying a black woman whose father (Mac) is having difficulty coming to terms with the marriage. Columbia senior vp production Andrea Giannetti and production co-president Matt Tomalch are overseeing.
