[...] when a rock band names itself Louis XIV some 300 years later, it's only appropriate that the band offers youth, sexually obsessed lyrics and an unmistakably confident swagger. Performing the day after the release of the album "The Best Little Secrets Are Kept," the modern rock quartet filled its short 40-minute set with a playful energy that liberally referenced another era (though not the 17th century of its namesake). Often, however, those moves were followed with a less-than-hip hike of his pants; rather than trying to hide the issue, he told the crowd he might end up playing without his bottoms, turning his clothing misstep into a sexual come-on.
