20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios are moving forward with the third installment of the "X-Men" franchise, hiring scribe Simon Kinberg to pen the script for "X3" for a high-six-against-seven-figure sum. The filmmakers are eyeing a summer start and are starting to meet with directors to replace Bryan Singer, who helmed the first two "X-Men" movies. Kinberg is repped by CAA, Lawrence Mattis at Circle of Confusion and attorney Karl Austen at the firm Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum & Morris.
